Welcome to the Friends of South Shore Park events page!

Join us for community, educational, and recreational events at the park throughout the year.

Whether it's the Farmers' Market, a cleanup, or one of our friends group meetings, we have something for everyone.

FRIENDS GROUP MEETINGS

Interested in learning more about our plans and activities? All are welcome to attend. 

Where: South Shore Park Pavilion, 2900 South Shore Drive, Milwaukee, 2

Dates: Tuesdays - October 8th, and December 10th

Time: 6:30pm to 7:30pm

PARK CLEANUPS

Volunteers meet to remove trash from our park and beach. This is a rewarding way to help the park and enjoy the outdoors.  In 2023, we removed over 1000 pounds!

Dates: Wednesdays - May through September (except July 3rd)

Time: 5:30pm

Where: Meet at the large anchor at the NE corner of the Park Pavilion

FARMERS' MARKET

For more than 25 years, the market features farm fresh and local food from over 40 regional vendors, a full slate of music from diverse, homegrown talent, and opportunities to connect with friends and neighbors in the park. The market is open Saturdays from 8 am to Noon, mid-June to late-October.
