TREE REPLACEMENT

South Shore Park has lost many trees in recent years to age, disease and storms.

Friends of South Shore Park seeks donations to replace the lost trees and establish a stronger canopy.

SPONSOR OR DEDICATE A TREE - While we seek donations

of any amount, donors may choose to honor or celebrate a

special person, group or occasion at the following levels:

        $340 for an entire tree

         $170 for a half tree

          $85 for a quarter tree

DOUBLE YOUR DONATION - The next $1500 in donations are matched by gifts from three donors.

Donations can be made securely online through the Donate page on our website. You can also look for us on select Saturdays at the South Shore Farmers' Market for more information and ways to donate.

THANK YOU to the following donors for their generous contributions to plant trees in South Shore Park:

The first two replacement trees were planted in Spring 2024 during our annual Earth Education Day event.

20 trees were planted in fall 2024. We are currently raising funds for the next phase of planting in fall 2025.

The overall goal is to plant at least 50 trees.
